TWO former wicketkeepers in the England set-up couldn’t have got it wrong.
CHAOSS Gymnastics Club Bahrain has brought home seven gold, three silvers and seven bronze medals from the recent Inter-Gulf Gymnastics club competition held in Doha, Qatar.

Individual floor – Imogen Sheldon (gold medal), Megan Dias (silver) and Kira Oldfield and Dominique Walls (bronze, joint 3rd).

IN Nadia Akeel, Bahrain has another champion. The best woman bowler in the kingdom once again affirmed her supremacy by winning the sixth Kingdom of Bahrain International Bowling Championship against some of the best bowlers from Asia.
Shaikh Nasser in second place
ROYAL Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa came second in the 120-km Endurance Horserace Championship for the Kingdom of Bahrain Trophy held in the UK.
Shaikh Nasser, the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) president, headed the five-member Bahraini team which included Shaikh Talal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Ahmed Abdulla, Raed Mahmood and Ahmed Abdulsamad.
Shaikh Nasser settled for second position after a gruelling competition with Great Britain’s Liz Taylor, who won the race.
