Boys with dapper hats and girls with bobs, head-hugging curls and ringlets, accessorised with cloche hats, wide, soft headbands and short, straight dresses from the flapper era are among the highlights of the all-children play, Bugsy Malone & Friends, which opens at the British Club tomorrow night.
International DJ Stevie George who originally stems from Cambridge, UK (born and raised but not edjukated there!) can be found entertaining the masses at the awesome Muju Lounge (Amwaj Island) amongst other locations across Bahrain. Wednesday (Feb 2)A workshop on Original Play, a non-competitive rambunctious natural play programme, will be held for families with children aged four to six from today onwards at Brain Body Dynamics in Budaiya. Original Play was created by Dr Fred Donaldson, a play specialist from the US, through his 30 years of research and experience with play behaviour. Parents and adults are invited for a free workshop at 6pm. Dr Fred will also play with children aged for to six and families tomorrow at 6pm. This session is BD30 per family. On Friday and Saturday a workshop for adults will be held from 10am to 5pm at BD170 per person or BD150 per person for a school group. Victoria Dance Performing Arts & Dance Studio at the KG Kids Pre-School in Saar will host two events on February 12 - 'My Heart Belongs to Daddy' for children aged three to nine from 12.30pm to 2pm and 'Two Hearts Beat at One' for children aged 10 and above from 1.30pm to 3pm.
