Ladies Night is being held every Wednesday and Thursday between 5pm-10pm at Wahooo! Water Park in Bahrain City Centre until September 6 featuring music from DJ Sara. Entry costs BD10 for those over 1.2m tall, BD6 for those below and BD3 for children under three.
Emotions were running high once the microphone was handed to a certain Mr Murray on Centre Court after his epic attempt at answering the prayers of a nation. Although Britain will have to wait another 12 months for the chance of a Men’s Singles Champion at Wimbledon, I think Andy Murray’s fan base expanded exponentially with his courageous and tearful speech congratulating Roger Federer, and giving his heartfelt thanks to all the support he had received from everybody he could manage to mention.
May I also add that the introduction of that awesome roof at Centre Court has transformed the whole championships at Wimbledon – mainly allowing for games to continue during the bad weather that is so typical of England during the summer months.
