The Breast Cancer Support Group is hosting a free tea and coffee morning at 9.30am on May 8 at World Beat Fitness Centre in Janabiya featuring guest speaker Galiena Verton, a bioethicist from the Netherlands. She is also a Lymphedema rehab specialist with many years’ experience dealing with cancer patients. She will talk about the lymphatic system, how to treat the symptoms of lymphedema and how massage by a specialist can help reduce fuid retention and remove toxins from the body.
