WITH reference to last week’s Whisperer … Krusty Kreme sounds disgusting! However, Krispy Kreme doughnuts rock!

Editor’s note: The red-faced Whisperer blames sticky fingers on the keyboard for this typographical error.

ART lovers can rest assured this month as art and culture take centre stage during the American Women’s Association (AWA) upcoming VISIONS Art Exhibition, showcasing fine art & photography, at Swiss Belhotel, Seef district, on March 18 -21.

A wide variety of styles, subjects and approaches, from realism to pure abstraction, will be presented, and this year VISIONS will be exceptional as we welcome members from the Bahrain Mobility International (BMI) to join us!

BMl is a social, general and non-profit centre located in Isa Town that provides rehabilitation and services to the disabled in Bahrain.

All pieces on exhibition will be on sale. AWA is an active and diverse association that brings together women from around the globe, to promote charity, friendship and cultural understanding.

Opening night will be on Wednesday, March 18, at 7pm. A special Ladies Morning will be held on Thursday, March 19, from 9am to 1pm, where ladies can view the exhibition at their ease and enjoyment. The exhibition will be open from 9am-9pm on March 19-20 and from 9am-7pm on March 21.

Irina Averinos, AWA Art Group chairperson.
