Award-winning T.G.I. Fridays Middle East is celebrating continued success in the restaurant industry regionally with further expansion plans.

Under the umbrella of Kuwait Food Company – Americana, the company recently picked up two major industry awards ‘2014 International Franchise Group of the Year’ and ‘2014 International Franchise Developer of the Year’ at a Global Conference held in the city of Dallas, in the US state of Texas, by the International Franchisor.

The first outlet in the region opened in 1996 and in Bahrain there are now three restaurants in City Centre Bahrain, Seef Mall Muharraq and Juffair run by sister branch, Bahrain and Kuwait Restaurant Company.

The regional franchise group is committed to opening another 30 restaurants over the next five years and will re-image another 23 of their current locations.

Fridays in the Middle East currently boasts more than 53 locations, making it the biggest brand of its kind with a single franchisee group, serving a wide range of soups, salads, appetisers, burgers, sandwiches, Tex Mex, pastas, chicken, seafood, steaks, desserts and a variety of non-alcoholic cocktails.
