Former Manchester United star Quinton Fortune attended the try-outs for young footballers aiming to secure a place in the travelling party attending the sixth edition of the ‘VIVA Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS)’ programme.

The South African player also signed autographs, chatted and had his photograph taken with fans at the Bahrain Football Association premises in Riffa.

More than 400 young players, boys and girls, between 12-15 years of age took part in the Friday sessions trying to impress UEFA-qualified, MUSS coaches flown into Bahrain from the UK.

On Saturday shortlisted performers underwent tough training sessions and the best 22 players will win an all-expenses paid, week-long trip to the MUSS training ground.

The successful youngsters will receive the news shortly.
