So, New Year’s Eve just went by … or should I say flew by for most of us high school-ers. This time round I decided to just tuck in the house and spend time with my family and complete school things before the deadlines.

But the point is, New Year, in the most clichéd way, indicates us towards new beginning and new opportunities. After all, we all like a clean slate to work on, a fresh change of canvas and infinite possibilities.

This is exactly how I view the year 2018, the year to go out and explore the world and grow as an individual while making new bonds and friendships along the way.

New Year is the perfect way to cherish the past, enjoy the present and look forward to the future. It is an opportunity to transform ourselves as individuals, as members of the society that we live in. We can evolve and work towards being better in our work and personal lives and move ahead.

But enough of the stuff from the deep thinking pot.

It was still fun to go outside, shout out the countdown and enjoy the fun night that makes New Year’s Eve so special!
