The 10th Annual Jawad Mini Marathon will take place on February 23 at the Jawad Dome, Barbar, with the tagline ‘Run or Walk for the Cause.’ Register online at www.jawadminimarathon.com, and collect your T-shirt and a raffle coupon before February 21. Dances from across the world and across the centuries is the theme of a concert to be given by Bahraini flautist Ahmed Al Ghanem and Ukrainian pianist Nadia Lopchynska on February 22 at 6pm at St Christopher’s Cathedral, Manama. UB40 tribute band, Rats in the Kitchen, are flying into Bahrain from the English city of Birmingham, on March 1 and 2, to perform at The Gulf Hotel Bahrain’s Sherlock Holmes Bar and Restaurant.
