Painting for a cause

Manzil, a non-profit organisation for children and young adults with special needs, is announcing a fund-raising effort in the hope of giving their students a playground, as well as, a chance to illustrate their talent.

Taking place during DSS, the Manzil Art Road Show will display the children’s art works in major malls across the UAE.
Thirty-two of Manzil’s student have poured their heart and soul into creating a piece reflecting their desires, ambitions and what makes them happy. Each unique painting will be up for auction, raising funds towards building a play area, where they can learn and play.
Taking the form of a road show, the paintings will be displayed at each mall for a week inviting visitors to see the paintings and be taken back by the artistic talents on show. They will be encouraged to bid for the painting which catches their eye.  From July 6 to 12, they stop at Ibn Battuta Mall, moving to Mercato from July 27 to August 2, to Al Reef Mall from August 3 to 9 and to Sahara Mall from August 24 to 30.
