Wave fiesta
MANAMA: Yamaha Wave Fiesta 2006 is to be held on July 7 at Al Bander Hotel and Resort.
This event, organised by Kooheji Marine Centre is to promote Wave Runner jet ski awareness and enforce the importance of safety in the water. Participants will meet at noon where they will attend the speech and then be treated to a picnic on Jalid Island, lunch and entertainment with organised activities and prizes. Setting the stage
MANAMA: A series of performing arts workshops for kids will be held from July 8-20 at The Children’s House, Budaiya. A team of qualified UK based drama, music and dance specialists will be leading the intensive theatre workshops which will explore drama, acting, music and movement, experimental theatre as well as personal and social development theatre. Workshops for children aged 12-16 will be held from 2.30pm to 7pm and the fee is BD90 per child. The final presentation for parents will be held on July 19.
