No need to warn the common man that
Watching the World Cup will make him fat
Admitted with bingeing the viewer might
Put on some weight – but his appetite
Will diminish once it’s back to normal life
Where soaring prices and other strife
Will come back to worry him all along
And soon all those extra pounds will be gone
