‘Should I choose my dream job or my man?’

Dear Mata Hari,
When my fiancé was told a couple of months ago that he had to move back to England for his work, we agreed that I would move back with him.

I sent my CV out and have since been offered my dream job in the same town he was being sent to but his bosses have now decided they need him to stay here. I don’t want to move back to England without him but the thought of missing out on such a great job opportunity fills me with dread. What should I do?

Stop being such a wuss. Take the job and leave your man behind because you better believe if the tables were turned you’d be lucky to get a goodbye text from the airport. A good man lasts as long as the honeymoon but a great job last for life (well until retirement age anyway). At least try it for a while and if you both find you really miss each other than one way or another you will find a way to be together again and if you find you don’t miss each other then England has a larger array of lager louts and football yobs to choose from.
