for better or verse
(In a poll conducted by The San Francisco Chronicle on poor sportsmanship, ear-chewing Mike Tyson took 77 per cent of the votes beating head-butting Zinedine Zidane who tallied a mere 4 per cent)

One way to get ahead and stay ahead, ’tis said
Is that in any situation you must use your head
But in the world of sports, there are players we see
Who take using one’s head quite literally!
Zidane was always a hot-tempered man
And when shadowed by Materazzi who began
To insult him — he lost his cool no doubt
And angrily head-butted his tormentor out!
Boxer Tyson also is a hot-tempered man
When in a title bout opponent Holyfield began
To head-butt him — he lost his cool it’s clear
And retaliated by chewing part of Holyfield’s ear!
Both showed poor sportsmanship, we duly note
As ‘head butts’ and ‘chewing’ belong to billy goats
But for acting the goat — forget suspension or fines
They made it to the front page and the headlines!
