The Duke of York visited Bahrain on Monday evening as part of an event related to the 15th Middle East Oil and Gas Show.
He joined delegates from the UK attending a reception at the British Ambassafor Jamie Bowden’s home in Manama. Prince Andrew is the UK’s special representative for international trade and investment as was guest of honour at the invitation-only event. The oil and gas show will open at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre on Sunday. Industry experts from across the region will attend the four-day event, which will feature five panel sessions discussing the key challenges facing the sector. It is being held under the theme ‘Delivering Energy Faster, Better and Smarter’ and will include an exhibition of related companies on the sidelines of the show.
