Hi friends,
We were never happy with our elders when we were teenagers.

They were bossy and poked their nose in all our affairs. They never understood our feelings and ensured that we don’t get any opportunity to enjoy our life. We thought to ourself that when we would grow up, we would behave differently. We shall be friendly with the kids, share our joys with them and fulfill all their demands. We shall not insist on studies, won’t rebuke them on coming home late, or going to cinema too often.
But to our dismay, the new generation is not prepared to listen to us. They don’t buy our ideas of enjoyment and happiness. They are irresponsible, glued to the internet, fond of junk food, always busy on mobile and disobedient to their elders.
We thought we would bridge the generation gap once and for all when we grow up. But our words and thrown back with a vengeance.
Do you agree that the first half of our lives is ruined by our parents … and the second half by our children?
Bye,
Syeda Maria
