The arrangements for the annual ‘Charity Wheelathon’ on Friday have now been finalised.
This popular event will take place at Bahrain International Circuit and is open to anyone wishing to participate provided they have attained the minimum levels of sponsorship (BD10 for adults, BD3 for children).
Forms can be downloaded from the www.stchcathedral.org.bh/wheels.htm or collected from Chaoss, EZ Fit, the Dilmun Club or the British Club.
Prizes will be made available to individuals raising the highest levels of sponsorship. Children’s prizes are divided into age band categories 0-4, 5-9, 10-13, 14-17 with prizes donated by Jashanmals and Carousel, while adults can win a return trip to Europe with KLM or a 4x4 drive at the BIC off-road centre.
There will be a family area where entertainment will be provided by Krazy Kevin and a variety of balloon twisters, face painters and hair braiders.
And the carnival atmosphere of earlier Wheelathon’s is now extending to the hospital bed race. For further details contact David Axtell on 39432133. The American Mission Hospital is kindly donating the hospital beds.
