Hi friends, Life has become so busy that many parents don’t spare time for their children.
They might make the plea that they are just trying to provide a better quality of life for their family. How can they meet deadlines in their office if they have to attend parent-teacher meetings or take a sick child to the hospital? With work and business getting global, a time may come that the children may have to make an appointment to meet their parents. The time spent at home should not be taken as the time spent with the family. It is not the matter of number of hours spent with the children. The qualitative dimension of involvement with the children is equally important. Many parents have an element of fatigue when they return home from work. Children should understand how tired their parents can be after a long day at work.. As a result, the children are prone to spend more time on the Internet, computer games and phones. It has to be realised that the best of the comforts in life cannot substitute for parents’ love and affection. Bye, Maria
