THE BD250 million Bahrain City Centre project which aims to change the face of tourism and shopping in the kingdom is continuing apace and is on course for completion in 12 months time.
A Bahraini executive has a hands-on role in making sure the development opens on time and provides the island with its first and largest integrated leisure and shopping destination.
In an exclusive interview with GulfWeekly, Mr Maher Abdulaziz
AlShaer, deputy chairman of Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) Investments in Bahrain, said: “I have worked on the project since its inception and consequently have monitored every aspect of its progress to what it is now.
“I am very excited about our development and cannot wait for the time it opens its doors to Bahrain. I can imagine the kingdom’s residents and visitors relaxing and having fun with the best view in town, the Gulf’s beautiful sea on one side and the
vibrant city on the other side.”
