Bahrain-based Star International Real Estate will hold a property exhibition on Thursday to showcase the latest property developments in Bahrain, Cyprus, the UK and Canada.
The show, which will be held in Elite Suites in Sanabis from 2pm to 9pm, will give home-buyers the opportunity to view scores of properties at home and abroad and receive advice about investment prospects.
Developers and consultants will be on hand to discuss everything from property markets to mortgages.
General manager at Star International Real Estate, Melanie Bonas, said that many expats are now choosing to buy in Bahrain.
"New arrivals to Bahrain are seeing the sense in buying a new home to live in rather than paying rent, and with apartments from as little as BD58,000 plus and finance readily available, it is a very real option to buy rather than rent here."
She added that for those interested in buying property in the UK, it is a key time to invest.
"I am often asked when it is a good time to buy in UK. The answer is as soon as you can afford to get on the housing ladder.
"The market is driven by supply and demand, and there are simply not enough houses to go round due to the huge number of people arriving to live in the UK each year and the increase in the population through births."
