Top dad - I don't think so!

IT would seem that K-Fed has rated joint number seven of the 50 most influential men under 45, along with Larry Birkhead (Anna Nicole Smith's baby-daddy) in a list compiled by Details magazine.

The list apparently makes him an unlikely front-runner for 'Dad of the Year' due to his visible presence in the life of his sons with Britney Spears.

There was a small window of time when he was keeping under the radar that I thought he might not be as bad as some members of the Press portrayed but as soon as he built a case against the train wreck that is Britney and he saw his chance to take her children - and the money that goes along with their up-keep - it was bye-bye Mr Nice Guy again.

It's one thing to try and guard your children from bad influences, it's another to totally annihilate their mother's reputation for the world and their children to see in a vicious court battle aimed at throwing as much mud as possible and kicking a person when they're down.

There's no doubt their children definitely need protecting from La Spears while she's in a not-so-good mental state, but the fact that he didn't think twice before abandoning then girlfriend and baby-mama Shar Jackson, who was pregnant with his second child, to run off and marry Britney, father of the year is hardly a title that suits him!

Britney Spears is seriously not in a good place right now but there's a widely believed theory that K-Fed is more than a little to blame for her break down.

She was on top of the world and ruling the music charts before they married, but then turned into a baby making factory while he went around partying and being snapped with one bimbo after another, leaving her to struggle with the baby blues.

Dad of the year material indeed!
