Wednesday (Dec 12)¥ Last day of the international conference "Twenty Years of Bahrain Archaeology" (1986-2006) being held at the Bahrain National Museum in Manama. Renowned speakers from Bahrain, Europe and across the region will present 25 research papers at the event, which will feature lectures, panel discussions and visits to various excavation sites including Bahrain Fort.

¥ The 2007 Middle East Spatial Technology Conference and Exhibition will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Manama. The conference aims at developing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and applications in the region. ¥ An Indian cultural show - BDSF (Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation) Melodic Meet 2007 will be held at the Indian Club in Manama from 7.30pm.

The evening will feature performances by Indian stars such as playback singer Ullaganathan, Kanhangad Ramachandran, Dr Bindhya and Sameera Ummer along with TV and film actress Sruthi.
