Malawian dad sparks fresh row

Two years down the line and Madonna and Guy Ritchie's adoption of Malawian-born David Banda is nearly finalised, but now the boy's father is said to be angry that the couple are raising the boy in the Kabbalah faith.

As a devout Christian he is not happy to hear that his son is being brought up to follow another religion but the simple fact of the matter is that it's absolutely none of his business. He put his child up for adoption and in doing so has relinquished any right he has on how the boy is raised.

He knew exactly who the Ritchie's were and what religion they follow when he defended their right to adopt the boy in the first place. It's not as if he was conned into believing that the little boy was going to be raised under the same traditions he's used to, down the road from where he himself lives.

He went into the whole thing with eyes wide open and without wanting to sound uncharitable, he certainly had no objection about it when he talked about his son being raised in a wealthy environment and hopefully coming home later on in life to help his biological family.

He said from the start that he didn't have a problem with Madonna's religious affinity so even if he did have a right he wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
