Gulf Tourist Projects will launch the Marriott Apartments in Juffair in the third quarter of this year.

Company chairman Shaikh Hesham bin Mohammed Al Khalifa conducted a field visit to the work site of the BD17 million ($45 million) project to review the progress.

This is the first project of the company in the kingdom and the residential complex is considered one of the most prestigious projects.

The development comprises two interconnected towers and each of them consists of 21 floors in addition to parking 195 cars.

Each floor consists of 94 deluxe apartments of one-, two- and three-bedrooms in addition to other services including top-class amenities and facilities that are designed in accordance with the standards of International Marriott.

Around 96 per cent of the total construction and interior decorations have now been completed. "The project is nearing completion, which will serve the tourism sector in Bahrain, which has been witnessing a tremendous increase in the number of tourists," Shaikh Hesham said.
