¥ As part of the 'Double Vue' exhibition, a violin recital by Master Ceser Velev will be held at La Maison Jamsheer in Muharraq at 7.30pm. The exhibition displays 40 photographs by award-winning Lebanese-born Canadian artist Camille Zakharia and a catalogue with photographs and text written by scholar and curator Sally Van Gorder. ¥ The eighth Taste of India Cookery Competition will take place from 9.30am at the Indian Club in Manama. The contest is being organised by the Association of Mar Ivanios College Old Students (AMICOS) as part of its10th anniversary celebrations. The competition will have five categories - salads, vegetarian, non-vegetarian, desserts and healthy meals and each category will have two winners. A panel of judges, leading chefs from hotels and restaurants across Bahrain will decide winners based on ingredients used, creativity, taste and presentation. Entry for guests is free. ¥ The Pakistani Club's ladies committee will hold a colourful fair entitled Meena Bazaar at the club premises. The event will feature entertainment such as live music and a magic show.
