Popeye Racing team once again dominated the 'pro mod' category during the fourth round of the Bahrain Drag Racing Championship this weekend at Bahrain International Circuit.

Owned by Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the team managed to steal the spotlight during the event, organised by Bahrain Drag Racing Club under the Bahrain Motor Federation umbrella, as American Rickie Smith worked his way through the knockouts and clinched the 'pro mod' title aboard his '68 Camaro. In second place was last year's champion Bader Al Ahli, followed by Popeye Racing's Khalid Mohammed in third and team mate Ali Aryan in fourth.
