Wednesday (July 9)¥ The Ella Art Gallery in Hoora will hold a free teachers' course until July 15. A certificate will be provided by Fevicryl Hobby Ideas and the training will include techniques in the art of Abaya painting, glass painting, dimensional painting, fabric glue articles, fabric painting, silk painting and pottery work and others.
Timings are from 10am to 12pm and 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
The gallery is also holding summer art classes in all medium sketching and shading, arcylic charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor and oil and pastels. The course is open for children aged eight and above.
Level one is for age group eight to15 and will be held Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am to 12.30am.
Level two will consist of age group 15 and above on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm and evening classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm.

Thursday (July 10)
¥ A summer career camp is being organised by Career Expo until July 17 at the Bahrain Training Institute.
Students currently in their second year of high school are invited. The camp will accommodate 30 girls in the first week and 30 boys in the following week. Activities will comprise a number of workshops related to career guidance and counseling with a focus on necessary professional skills, along with various field visits which aim to acquaint the students with available options in the job market.
Students can take personality tests and other diagnostics.
Career Expo 2008 will be held from October 21-23 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre and will welcome Bahraini secondary students, vocational students, jobseekers, parents, and the community at large.
