Dear Stan,I thought you might be interested to know that on the page covering memories in Bahrain, featuring our Queen taken with the late Amir - that beautiful pink dress she was wearing was made by my cousin all those years ago.

She was the Queen's dresser and dress-maker for 40 years and that particular photo was turned into a very well-known postcard selling here in those days,

Best wishes,

Yvonne Trueman, Adliya.

Dear Stan,

Just wanted to also say I really enjoy GulfWeekly and its Sports coverage in particular.

As a QPR supporter and a Muslim overjoyed at Gulf Air's sponsorship and in view of my community work between Muslims in West London and QPR, I hope the prospect of QPR working closely with the local Muslim population can be highlighted as an excellent example of community cohesion, inclusion and diversity which Gulf Air and Bahrain should also take credit for.

Kind regards and Ramadan Mubarak,

Muj Khan,

White City Muslim Association, London.

Dear Stan,

This refers to the recent Youth Talk article 'Cherish the life you have' by Ismaeel Na'ar.

Most of us have come across at least one 'near death' experience in our lives.

Here I recollect a popular adage: 'Help yourself and God will help you'.

Seturam Aspari, Adliya.
