Marina West, Bahrain's first gated, beachfront, high-rise residential and lifestyle community, located on the Kingdom's west coast, has announced that the sub structure works for all the residential towers has been completed and the towers have now started to emerge out of the ground and become distinctly visible.

Mahmood Janahi, managing director of Marina West Real Estate Company, said: "The last few months have been a tough time for the construction sector. The government of Bahrain has reduced the working hours in the hot summer months by restricting working between noon and 4pm. Also another major factor that affected the overall progress of construction was the Saudi government's ban on export of cement which has now been partially relaxed.

"Much credit goes to our contractor, Al Hamad, who continued to strive to keep pace by commencing work early in the mornings and working late into the night to achieve such results. With the progress of the towers now moving skywards one can start to visualise the serenity and to understand the whole Marina West Development as it starts to take on its final form."
