THURSDAY (Sept 11)

Film - King Arthur on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

From producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and director Antoine Fuqua comes this historically faithful take on the myth of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Starring Oscar nominee Clive Owen, Welsh heartthrob Ioan Gruffudd and British beauty Keira Knightley, this epic tells the story of the real hero who became a legend. Arthur (Clive Owen) believes that only chaos and devastation will follow Rome's final withdrawal from Britain. But before they can return home, Arthur must lead his Knights of on one last mission.

FRIDAY (Sept 12)

Film - The Chronicles of Narnia on Super Movies at 8.30pm.

C S Lewis' timeless adventure follows the exploits of the four Pevensie siblings in World War II England who enter the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of 'hide-and-seek' in the rural country home of an elderly professor. Once there, the children discover a charming, peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs and giants that has become a world cursed to eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis.

SATURDAY (Sept 13)

Film - Amos & Andrew on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

When Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Andrew (Samuel L Jackson) - who happens to be black - is seen entering a resort mansion by a bigoted police chief (Dabney Coleman), the chief mistakenly assumes he is breaking in. Fearing Andrew has hostages, the chief calls out the cavalry. But the playwright actually owns the home and by the time the chief realises his mistake, it's too late. The chief further confuses matters by ordering a jailbird car thief, Amos (Nicolas Cage), to pretend to be the "real" menace in return for freedom. But Amos gets more than he bargained for when he's forced to match wits with the sophisticated Andrew for control of the mansion.

SUNDAY (Sept 14)

Film - The Hurricane on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

In June 1966, Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter (Denzel Washington) was a strong contender for the middleweight boxing title. When three people were murdered in a New Jersey bar, Carter's dreams were destroyed. Driving home from a nearby club, Carter was arrested for the murders and sentenced to serve three life terms in prison. Several years later, Carter's published memoir inspired a Brooklyn teenager and three activists who believed in the truth to join forces with Carter to prove his innocence.

MONDAY (Sept 15)

Series - Monk on Star World at 9pm.

Troubled by the unsolved murder of his wife, homicide detective Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) has developed a serious obsessive-compulsive disorder. While the disease forces him to leave his job, Adrian consults for the police on particularly difficult cases.

In 'Mr. Monk is at Your Service', Monk investigates the death of a wealthy couple.

TUESDAY (Sept 16)

Documentery - Air Crash Investigation Special: Who's Flying The Plane? on NGC at 8pm.

When pilots climb into the cockpit of a modern jetliner, they put their trust in an automated computer system that can control virtually every aspect of flight. It's a complicated relationship between man and machine and when it doesn't work perfectly, disaster can strike in an instant. Featuring gripping re-enactments, Who's Flying the Plane? revisits some of the most troubling aviation disasters that resulted from problems with autopilots.
