Wednesday (Oct 22)Documentary - Mythbusters, Season Six premiere on Discovery Channel at 11pm.

Noah Cooper (Dan Shepard) has plenty of problems. Fired from his job as a physical therapist, his wife, Clare (Liv Tyler), is pressuring him to start a family. Further adding to his woes is the fact that Clare's nerdy cousin, Myron (Mike White), has come to stay. And just when things couldn't get any worse, Noah's smothering, overprotective mother (Diane Keaton) arrives on his doorstep after leaving her husband.

SATURDAY (Oct 25)

Film - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Earthman Arthur Dent (Martin Freeman) is having a bad day. His house is about to be bulldozed, he discovers that his best friend is an alien and Planet Earth is about to be demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass. Arthur's only chance for survival: hitch a ride on a passing spacecraft. Arthur sets out on a journey in which he finds that nothing is as it seems: he learns that a towel is just the most useful thing in the universe and discovers that everything he needs to know is in one book: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

SUNDAY (Oct 26)

Film - Jingle All The Way on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

One for the younger viewers. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as Howard Langston, an overworked salesman who has been neglecting his family of late. In an attempt to reconnect with his son, Howard promises he'll deliver whatever he wants for Christmas. His son's request is a Turbo Man, a toy coveted by every other kid this year. Unfortunately, all the stores are already sold out, and Howard embarks upon a maddening chase throughout the streets to find the last Turbo Man in the city.

MONDAY (Oct 27)

Documentary - Wild Chronicles on NGC at noon.

Off the coast of Africa, humpback whales are making a comeback. At Yosemite National Park, a bear looks for a midnight snack. Crittercam sheds light on the conflict between sea lions and fishermen. In the Arctic, the polar bear engages in a brutal battle for survival. Off the coast of Gabon, Africa, Wild Chronicles documents Wildlife Conservation Society and Gabonese conservationists are working to protect a real giant - the humpback whale. Relentlessly hunted until the 1960s, they had all but disappeared.

TUESDAY (Oct 28)

Film - The Year Without Santa Clause on Cinema City 7pm.

Mrs Santa Claus tells the story of the year when Santa Claus, feeling ill and unwanted, decided to take a holiday. When devious head elf Sparky (Chris Kattan) tells Santa that he must "keep up with the times" no matter how materialistic, Santa Claus (John Goodman) resists, fearing that the holiday has become far too commercial. Convinced that people have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas, Santa decides to take the year off and not deliver any gifts, much to the dismay of his two closest elves, Jingle and Jangle.
