Ishbiliya Village project focuses on reviving spirit of social life

Ishbiliya Village Company, located in Al Qadam Area, off Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway, says their residential project is progressing on schedule.

Mohammed Fahmi Hamad, senior manager - investments department at Kuwait Finance House, the investment company for the project, announced the completion of 25 per cent of the construction and related work on the site.

Mr Hamad said: "Work has commenced at a steady pace in the development of the Ishbiliya village project. The residential units maintain the elements of traditional architecture, while providing all the modern amenities, which have assisted in attracting clients from all over the GCC to the project.

"The success of this project has strengthened the investors' trust in us and we are committed towards the development of prime real estate projects in Bahrain."

The project focuses on reviving the spirit of social life in the area through the design of houses and the facilities of the village. The prices of the villas start from BD155,000 and the residential units consist of two floors.

Engineer Saleem Elias, senior manager of construction and developments for Al Enma'a House for Real Estate, the development manager of the project, said that the overall cost of the first stage of the project crossed BD32 million. Thirty per cent of the total land area (225,000 sq m) has been dedicated to roads and services.

He said: "The overall area of the development is 175,200 sq m. The project will consist of 136 houses from the category of neighbouring houses, 107 villas and 54 residential buildings in which each one will consist of four floors, and 18 residential buildings of three floors each."

Plans at the Ishbiliya village include a centre for retail and culture which consists of a mosque, council, kindergarten, nursery, public library, health club and retail stores.
