Fashion TV Arabia will open Bahrain's Formula One weekend in style with its, now famous, or infamous, Heels & Wheels bash on April 24.
The party is where the cutting edge worlds of Formula One and fashion came together to create a unique lifestyle event brought to you by F Factory and Picasso in conjunction with Fashion TV Arabia.
The party, which will take place at the Gulf Hotel, Bahrain, is expected to attract celebrities, VIP tourists visiting Bahrain for the Grand Prix weekend and a select group of young Bahrainis and expatriates living in the country.
The Formula One weekend party is one of the most popular events in Bahrain and the region.
For 2009, there will be a unique outdoor VIP ice lounge bar never before seen in Bahrain.
Fashion TV Arabia, which will air coverage of the event in the two weeks following the event and will bring three of its official Fashion TV DJs to perform with international dancers flown specially in from Europe to bring added sparkle to the night.
In addition, gorgeous models will be at the venue throughout the night displaying some of the most fashionable clothes and accessories Bahrain's boutiques have to offer.
With an anticipated crowd of more than 2,000 people, the party promises to be a very special night with great music, celebrities, beautiful people, gorgeous FTV models, and an amazing ambiance.
This is the sixth time the Grand Prix will hit the island and it is considered one of the most glamorous and prestigious dates on the F1 calendar which attracts worldwide attention.
The race will take place at the state of the art Bahrain International Circuit, where fans can get closer to the action than at any other circuit.
Fashion TV Arabia, is a subsidiary of Fashion TV in Paris, launched in 2006 and dedicated to the Middle East region.
Like its parent company, Fashion TV Arabia's programming includes exclusive coverage of the glamorous world of fashion, including reports from fashion shows, profiles of established and up-and-coming modeling talent and fashion photographers and features on entertainment trends.

The event, to be held on April 24, will begin at 8pm and will continue till 2am, at the Gulf Hotel's Awal Ballroom, in Manama. Tickets are to be sold exclusively at Virgin Megastore at Bahrain City Centre priced at BD25 for regular and BD50 for VIP.
