I'm an avid fan of the TV programme NCIS and loved reading about life inside the real version here in Bahrain.

It is an indication of how important this part of the world has become that just a few years ago there was only one NCIS agent based here and now there are 40 to 50.

It's good to see that Bahrain is getting its own Comedy Club, there's loads of talent on this island both native and expat so I hope SJ Media keeps on organising events of this kind.

The open mic night is a great idea as there is nothing like actually performing to build a comic's confidence, even those who weren't chosen for the Comedy Club event must've had a great time actually having the opportunity to get up in front of an audience.Well done SJ Media and thanks to GulfWeekly for telling us about it.
