GulfWeekly has signed up as a media partner for the upcoming BIPEX 2009.
Now in its sixth edition, BIPEX 2009, organised by the Bahrain Society of Engineers and held under the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, will run from October 14-16 from 10am to 9pm at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
The society is thrilled by the support it has already received from the business community. As reported in GulfWeekly, Diyar Al Muharraq has signed up as the prime sponsor, Ithmaar Development company, Gulf Holding company and Al Khaleej Development company (TAMEER) are diamond sponsors, Marina West, Scott Wilson, First Bahrain Real Estate and Ahad Holdings are platinum sponsors and Eskan Bank and Orchid Development company are gold sponsors.
This week Manara Development signed up as the platinum sponsor for the publication of the Exhibition Guide.
BIPEX 2009 is also supported by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs has also confirmed its participation.
One of the highlights of the property expo will be the interactive seminar which will provide technical details to potential investors and will cover topics such as real estate project design and construction aspects and the real estate market outlook in Bahrain.
BSE president A Majeed Al Gassab believes BIPEX 2009 comes at a crucial time and is confident that the sixth edition of this event will play a vital role in restoring confidence in the markets.
BIPEX 2008 attracted a record 13,500 footfalls, bringing together 98 participants from Bahrain, the UK, Portugal, India, the Philippines, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan to showcase real estate and infrastructural projects with an asset worth of $50 billion (BD18.53 billion).
