Titleist, a leading international golf equipment manufacturer, has confirmed their sponsorship of the Royal Golf Club's first club championships.
The tournament began on October 30 with a qualifying round for club members of all categories. The leading eight gross and leading eight net scorers from each gents flight and the leading four scorers from the ladies flights compete in matchplay quarter-finals and semi-finals on Friday.
The Grand Final will take place on November 13 when the overall winner from each category will be acclaimed Club Champion 2009.
In addition to being presented with a prestigious trophy each, the winners will also be awarded valuable gift certificates for Titleist, Footjoy and Cobra golf products.
