Dear Stan, Thank you so much to you and your team for the wonderful article in support of the Jones family in this week's edition of GulfWeekly. It clarified the situation beautifully, answering the questions of skeptics whilst being sympathetic.

Kirsti Shaheen.

I am Adam's best friend and I miss him soooo much. I just want him to come back.

Alec.

I sympathise with Rebecca. I was denied custody of my child. Ultimately, the victim was my child who was kept away from the love and care that only a bearing mother can bestow and consequently my child has missed out on that love; all that is left is anger and confusion within and can never be repaired.

I hope and pray that you will win this case and have Adam back in your arms to grow into an emotionally and physically healthy adult. Best of luck!

Isabella.

WE should see the tears of the parents.

Mohammed Ali

All should respond to Bring Adam Back Home.

Mathews.

Adam should be returned to his mother, the Qatari family has no right over Adam. Rebecca, keep your hopes high, you will get your son back. Good luck in whatever course of action you will take.

Anette Orace.

Please send Adam back home - for God's sake.

Sabeen Khan.

This is not acceptable by any standard, the boy should be with his mother.

David Eyles.

Please, please help this family. Adam needs to be reunited with his family as soon as possible.

Suzie Bullman.

Adam needs his mother and the security and stability that he has known from his childhood.

It is strange that the Qatari relatives want custody now after 10 years. A mother has more right on her own child than anyone else. She should be given joint custody.

Vijaya.

Your children our your heartstrings, lose them and your never ever the same again. Give Rebecca back her reason for breathing.

Oonagh Hull.

I believe Adam should be returned home to live with his mother who raised him since birth. The family of his father had no right to abduct him and trick her into signing papers.

Please do your best to help this child as every child needs a mother in his life.

Hisham Alkooheji.

This is a totally unacceptable situation and the authorities should be taking serious action to reunite Adam with his mother. I pray Adam is returned soon.

Lynn Almahal.

Adam must be reunitied with his mother and stepfather. There is absolutely no logical reason why he should have been taken away from the family who love him. Please do everything that you can to return Adam to his rightful place.

Ron Brierly.

Nothing justifies taking a child away from his natural mother and the way it was done was underhand and should be dealt with.

Compensation should be made to Rebecca for the added expense of having to stay in Qatar and for court fees. My prayers are for compassion and full custody of Adam to be awarded to Rebecca to show the world that justice has been seen to be done.

Sue Hughes.

I have witnessed the great love and care given to Adam by his mother and stepfather, his maternal grandmother and aunt and uncle since his birth.

This child has always been cherished and should never be considered a 'replacement' to his late father. Give Adam back to those who truly love him, not those who want to use him.

Maureen Mulford.

Let's see if we can make the difference.

A Barrett.

we say Bring Adam Back Home - from the bottom of our hearts, please, please, we need your help.

Adam needs his mum, please. We appeal for somebody to take action. Deep in my heart I know Adam will be soon with his family - Rebecca, Barrie and Alex. I know how he loves his mum and I know how she loves him.

Thanks so much to the Gulf Daily News and GulfWeekly for the support. You have our love and hearts.

Simona Klatourova.

A person so young should be given the choice to be with his mother, sister and a real father (not necessarily paternal) - a stable loving family.

Elaine C Baxter.

Please unite Adam back with his mum, sister and stepdad - a loving family. He has to go to school. Please do your very best to end this heartbreak. Many thanks

Chai Newman.

I believe Adam should rejoin his true family in Bahrain at home and in school as well.

He was a friend of my son Rakan in the same year group. What a lovely child. He was very happy living with his mother. I feel so sorry for Rebecca and her family to be treated like this.

Reem Mitri.

I really hope that Rebecca gets her son back as soon as possible.

It is depressing to know that in today's day and age these kinds of things are happening. I really hope it all gets sorted out as soon as possible.

Karishma Krishna Kumar.

Please bring this boy home to his mother - to be apart under such circumstances is intolerable, unjust and sickening. Help them!

Kate Beaty.

It's all wrong. He needs his mum. They tricked her and that is not right. Just give him to his mum where he belongs.

Joanne Latif.

Our thoughts go out to the Jones family, especially Adam. We join with all the others who have signed the petition and urge someone in Qatar to rethink the order.

It's a crying shame that Adam has been separated from his mother. I hope and pray that this wrong is remedied without any further delay and Adam is returned to his mother.

Prachi Malhotra.
