Bahrain National Holding - the parent company of Bahrain National Insurance (bni) and Bahrain National Life Assurance (BNL) - have been honoured at the 2009 CIO Middle East Top 20 for bni's online insurance innovation, bnidirect.
BNH was amongst 20 organisations in the Middle East who were recognised for their innovative contributions in the information technology industry to serve as an effective tool for improving relationships with customers.
BNH IT manager Khalid Jalal received the award in the IT Symposium and award ceremony held in Dubai and attended by top IT corporations and managers from the region.
Mr Jalal said: "It's important to thank the entire team who worked on this project for their valuable inputs which helped us achieve this prestigious industry award.
"This award is a reflection of their hard work and dedication," he added.
BNH chief executive Mahmood Al Soufi said: "Our focused strategic vision and values have come to fruition this year."
