St Chris youngsters hold on to their cup

St Christopher's School retained their under-11 Unity Cup Football title in style winning all their group matches against schools from Cairo, Khartoum, Oman and Cyprus before defeating the Intercontinental School from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in the final.

Scoring 19 goals in the tournament and conceding none, the boys in red saved their best football for the final winning 3-0, with Robert Koeck scoring the opener followed by a brace of goals from Chris Egan.

The boys also enjoyed playing three friendly matches against some of the best under-12 club sides in the UAE.

The St Christoper's team, pictured right, was managed by Mark Holness and Simon Maye.
