HAVE you got the K Factor? GulfWeekly has joined up with Bahrain TV's Channel 55 to undercover the kingdom's most promising entertainer.

We will highlight every contestant invited to appear on the Talent Trail 2010 segment of presenter Krazy Kevin's Music Mania chart show.

Readers and viewers will be able to vote in a special final edition of the programme and the contestant who receives the most cast will walk away with a prize trophy.

A panel of invited judges will be invited to comment on the recorded performances ... but it will be your email vote that counts.

The first entertainer shortlisted to appear live tonight is St Christopher's School pupil Daryl Egan, 12, from Saar, who will be singing his own composition Save Me accompanied by his acoustic guitar.

It is one of 10 songs he wrote during the summer holidays and he has already recorded two of them in professional studios.

Daryl is also no stranger to competitions as he was member of a three-strong band which reached the finals of last year's Nescafe talent contest. Each act chosen to appear live on Music Mania will be featured in GulfWeekly.

Catch the first contestant tonight at 8pm. The show will be repeated on Friday and Sunday at 9pm too. Presenter Krazy Kevin, said: "I'm delighted GulfWeekly has come on board for Bahrain's first ever television talent competition.

"I have been amazed at the interest Talent Trail 2010 has generated and there certainly appears to be many performers in the kingdom with the K Factor!"

The contest is open to all nationalities and ages, you simply have to be a resident of Bahrain and be a solo act.

If you can dance, sing, perform magic or tell a few jokes email krazykevin@hotmail.com for your chance of stardom.
