The third Elham Arts Festival showcasing a range of music and performing arts events featuring local and international artists opens today at the Qal'at Albahrain (Bahrain Fort) site museum in Seef. This week's line-up:

Wednesday, May 5, 8pm, Art Centre

Official opening and group art exhibition featuring Yasmine Rasool, Moosa Silwadi, Sara Aradi, Perry El-Ashmawi, Hasan Alkhunaizi, Hadeer Albaqaali, Ammar Hammad, Yasser Waheed

Thursday, May 6, Bahrain Fort Museum

3 to 6pm MegaMix Histories 303, an interactive workshop creating multi-media narrative using video, music, dance and other art mediums with American artist Steven Mykietyn.

5 to 7pm Live Art

Performed by musicians, Hani Malik and Hasan Hujairi and artists Serena Stevens and Leila Sohrab

7 to 9 pm Spoken Notion

Spoken word evening with Hotline, DBoy, David Hollywood, Steven Mykietyn, Mohammed Almeshad and Krishna Achuthanandam

A creative writing talk and performance by May Kutbi
