A drawing workshop for artists of all levels will be held at the Al Riwaq Art Space in Adliya on June 18 and 19 led by Seana Mallen and Mercy Kagia.
Timings are from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 5pm on June 18 and from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm on June 19. Fee is BD60. The workshop will be followed up by an open informal event at the Art Space on June 20 at 7pm. The talk will address the work achieved by all the workshop participants and Mercy and Seana will discuss their work in Kenya.
The artists will also be showing their work at the Crowne Plaza Convention Centre on June 11, in association with the Manama Singers production of the African Sanctus. All the work in the show is based on reportage drawing done on site in Kenya last summer.
