Ladies dominated the third competition in the six-week long Chivas Regal Monday Madness Night Golf Series taking place at the Royal Golf Club.
Members Evelyn Sword and Camilla Davidsen won their second competition of the series with a score of 26.75, putting them at the top of the series leader board while Lady Captain Dena Wales and her playing partner Olive Wagstaff took the runners-up spot with a score of 28.
The men's pairing of Don Warren and Wayne Giles had to settle for a close third place with a score of 28.2.
"It's great to see the women doing so well in this very popular series," said Phil Jones, the club's director of golf operations. "Their ability is sometimes underestimated by male golfers but these results go to show that our lady members are a force to be reckoned with!"
NHSC representative Andrew Thomas was present at the prize-giving ceremony.
The Chivas Regal Monday Madness series is open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night for the 9-hole event and tees off every Monday evening with a 6.30pm shotgun start. To register, contact the Royal Golf Club's Golf Events team on golfevents@theroyalgolfclub.com.
