Pollo Campero is one of the island's latest haunts offering scrumptious meals for chicken lovers.
Situated on Exhibition Avenue, the outlet is the first regional franchise of the well-known Latin American fast food chain.
Tarek Mostafa, general manager of J A Holdings, master franchise holder of Pollo Campero, said: "People in the Middle East love chicken. We decided to introduce Pollo Campero to Bahrain because it is a very unique concept, boasting a variety of different flavours.
"We are very particular about offering healthy food to our customers and we use 100 per cent trans-fat free chicken."
The menu consists of a list of grilled and fried chicken with an assortment of side dishes such as rice and beans, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, salad as well as the outlet's signature Campero dip and guacamole.
Mr Mostafa, 46, from Juffair, explained that the grilled chicken rice bowl and the Campero rice and beans wrap were amongst the most popular with customers.
Pollo Campero, which translates as country chicken, first opened in November and is set to open a second branch in Budaiya shortly.
It will offer customers a greater variety of Latin dishes as well as more activities for the family.
Mr Mostafa said: "We will be introducing a new menu as well, with a list of authentic Latin dishes such as burrito, quesadilla, tacos and nachos in a section called Tex Mex."
The menu will also feature 'chicken bites' which are small cubes of chicken breasts either grilled or fried with tortilla, a flatbread made from corn or wheat.
Mr Mostafa explained that the new outlet will provide an entertainment area for children where they can watch Disney movies while enjoying a kid's meal or play games at the PlayStation zone.
He said: "We have major plans for future expansion within Bahrain, followed by branching out in the region to places like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman."
For Ramadan, the outlet will be open from Iftar time until Suhoor and will also offer complimentary snacks for customers with their orders including soups, fruit juices, dates and milk.
