British Airways has reduced fares to mark the start of Ramadan.

The discount fares will be available until August 31 and are valid for travel up until March 31, 2011, in Club World business class, World Traveller Plus Premium Economy and World Traveller economy cabins.

Return trips to Europe are available - including all taxes, fees and surcharges - for as little as BD213, and on to the US for BD353.

Fares to Europe in Premium Economy class start from BD403 and business class fares start from just BD999 for all-inclusive return trips.

Paolo De Renzis, British Airways' area commercial manager, Middle East, said: "Recent increases in demand show that we are firmly on the road to recovery in the Middle East, and whilst there is still some way to go, we will continue to seek opportunities to reward our passengers' loyalty."

Pledging to operate all long-haul flights in the event of any further industrial action, the UK carrier has continued to see a rise in regional passengers this year, reaffirming the region as a focal growth point for the carrier.

The new fares are available online at www.ba.com - where customers can book, pay and check-in online.
