GULF Air chief executive officer Samer Majali was awarded the title of 'Aviation CEO of the Year' at the annual awards ceremony.
The CEO Middle East Awards, run by media publishing company ITP, recognises and rewards industry leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators for outstanding achievements and contributions in their specialist areas.
Accepting the award, Mr Majali said: "Tough decisions had to be made across the company this year leading to some radical changes.
"I am very proud of our achievements."
