The Albareh Art Gallery in Adliya is hosting an exhibition entitled 'Mirage' featuring Egyptian artist Hazem Taha until October 16. A selection of his abstract paintings and photographs will be held in Albareh CafŽ. He has more than 80 products and public art projects in Africa, India and many other European and Arab countries. Bahraini artist Faika Al Hassan will exhibit her work in an exhibition titled 'Cities of the Universe' until October 23 at the Bin Matar House at the Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre in Muharraq. Her work features depicts women, most often mothers. The exhibition will display more than 15 of her new works. In addition, the artist has expanded her repertoire by designing jalabiyas as well as silk and cotton shawls.

The Society of Construction Law (Gulf) is hosting an event at the Mercure Grand Hotel in Seef at 6.15pm. Speakers include Martin Preston, construction and infrastructure partner from the Dubai office of Norton Rose, engineer Rehan Ahmed, senior environmental specialist at Bahrain's Directorate of Environmental Control.
The event will also feature a panel session featuring Danny da Cruz, CEO of SCC MENA, a GCC-based clean energy and low-carbon projects joint venture, Danie Neumann, head of Northern Gulf Environmental at WS Atkins, based in Bahrain and Halel Abdulrahman, senior environmental scientist and director of Posford Haskoning Environment Gulf.
