The Ramee International Hotel's Oasis Hall will light up for the Indian festival of light, Diwali as it presents the 'Diwali Dhamaka' on November 5. The evening will feature a buffet costing BD8 for adults and BD5 for children and will include delicacies such as pani puri, chaat counter along with farsan - shev, chiwada, chakli as well as vegetarian and non vegetarian platters, salads and special Diwali sweets like Laddu, Barfi, Pedha, Kalakand and a Diwali cake. The Indian Ladies Association will also host an evening for Sneha - 'Saath Saath' on November 4 at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain Hotel in Manama. Project Sneha is a programme for children with special needs of all nationalities and run free of cost. The event will feature a variety of entertainment followed by dinner. Stand-up comedian Ahsaan Qureshi from Mumbai, India, Bollywood playback singer Krishna Beura and Indian Idol star Priyanka Negi will entertain the audience.

The Bahrain Animal Production Show 2010 (BAPS) at the Hawarat Al A'li Agricultural Development Centre near Zayed Town will open to the public from November 25-27. Entrance is free.
