The special promotion on the Nissan Altima, offering the high-specification newly-designed car from BD6,995, is proving to be a huge success.

The four-cylinder DOHC engine is capable of delivering a gross power of 188hp while the intelligent 'continuously variable transmission' gives instant response and smoothness. The car is equipped with an intelligent key for push button ignition - the only car in its class to provide this feature.

From the outside, the Altima has been redesigned with sporty, sculpted looks and boasts a dual exhaust. The sunroof and rear spoiler add to its roadside presence.

The cabin comfort is greatly enhanced, thanks to a dual zone automatic temperature control air conditioner which also has a rear vent for the comfort of back seat passengers.

Altima features a nine-speaker Bose audio system with MP3 and the USB input lets you hear your favourite music on your ipod or play digital music files and movies from a flash drive.

The brilliant 4.3-inch colour monitor in conjunction with the rear view camera provides for easy parking in tight spots. To ensure an easy and convenient drive, controls for Cruise control, audio and phone have been provided on the steering wheel.

Safety features include dual airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, brake assist, traction control system and vehicle dynamic control.

"The new Altima clearly leads its category of cars by offering convenient features like push button start, Bluetooth, CVT and a Bose audio system. We are happy to see the overwhelming response from our customers who have rated it very high on styling as well as performance," said Y K Almoayyed & Sons general manager Declan McCluskey.

The new Altima is available to test drive at the Nissan showroom at Sitra. For more details call 17732732.
