ABDULLA Al Hakam narrowly won the June qualifier of the TNT Order of Merit at the Royal Golf Club despite difficult weather conditions.
However, Al Hakam needed the count back system to stop Nasser Yacoob clinching another TNT win. Both national golf team players finished with a level par 72. Youngster Sam Hobday finished third with a gross 77.
Ahmed Sultan took first place in the net division of the event with an impressive score of net 71. Aqdas Ahmed and Abdulla Ali both finished on net 73 with Ahmed just pipping Ali into second place after the count back system was needed to separate the two.
In the ladies section Emma Boyd won in the gross division after shooting a gross 86. Sara Thompson took second place with 92 while Karen Black made up the top three with a gross 94.
In the ladies net division Sam Jones shot an impressive net 70 to win by five clear shots over Sara. Thmpson.
